The Raconteurs have unveiled a new video for their Consolers Of The Lonely track “Old Enough.” The clip finds the band gallivanting through a forest of mirrors, with Jack White dressed like he’s reprising his character from Cold Mountain. What’s surprising about the video is how it has absolutely nothing to do with the Antique Roadshow-inspired viral site the Raconteurs rolled out yesterday. Over at the From Old To Gold website, the band asks fans to upload video of “treasured items and thrift store finds” and the band will tell you if it’s “old…or gold.” Thus far, no additional videos have been posted to the site’s YouTube page, but you should still check out the humorous clip that kicked off the search for antiques here.

Let's get right to it: The first Guns n' Roses album of new, original songs since the first Bush administration is a great, audacious, unhinged and uncompromising hard-rock record. In other words, it sounds a lot like the Guns n' Roses you know. At times, it's the clenched-fist five that made 1987's perfect storm, Appetite for Destruction; more often, it's the one sprawled across the maxed-out CDs of 1991's Use Your Illusion I and II, but here compressed into a convulsive single disc of supershred guitars, orchestral fanfares, hip-hop electronics, metallic tabernacle choirs and Axl Rose's still-virile, rusted-siren singing.

Mike Shinoda, Linkin Park's rapper-songwriter-producer has already been sketching out new songs with the band, and last week they began recording the follow-up to the multiplatinum Minutes to Midnight in Los Angeles. “I didn’t stop writing since the last record,” says Shinoda. He said he has a lot of material to contribute. (More)

This website has went through a few changes since I first started it about 8 years ago. I recently took the site down as many of you have already noticed. It grew so much that I could no longer find enough free time to mange it. I was thinking about ending it completely but I changed my mind. (More)
